Each day’s menu includes a daily total of calories, milligrams (mg) of iron and micrograms (mcg) of foliate and vitamin B12. The menus also meet the RDAs for all other nutrients, and less than 25 percent of each day’s calories come from fat. Vary your menus by using the accompanying food lists to meet your daily nutrient requirements with servings of different types of foods.
