Insurance is one thing that we should have to protect ourselves/properties. Shopping for insurance is a difficult task because some insurance well turn you down when you need them the most. Base on our own experienced last year that we had an accident with the semi stopped in the intersection and we hit the semi's tail because it was on our way and my husband wasn't able to completely stop because it happened to quick. So we claimed the loss to the insurance company but then they didn't protect us because the other company said that it was half of our fault and they will only pay half of the cost. We knew for sure that it wasn't our fault, so my husband fought our insurance company and finally they paid the other half. But they kept saying that half of it was our fault. So my husband thought about finding another insurance company, the one will be there for us and will investigate the problem further. Maybe short term insurance is the best choice for us at this moment. It is hard to drop the insurance company that are in for so long, but if they don’t do their job then no reason to keep them. You chooses them, meaning you trust them especially by the time that you need them the most. So, if the long term insurance doesn't work for us, we always know that there is always short term insurance.
