Saw Blade

Hello, I’ve slept in the same bed since I was thirteen years old, and it’s gotten so comfortable that I don’t feel like giving it up any time soon. My father decided to get rid of the bright red bunk bed that I used to have as a child because he felt it would be more fitting for me to sleep in something less childlike that, and seeing as how I’m an only child, I had no real need for a bunk bed in my room. There was no one else to sleep in the top bunk, which wasn’t where I slept, and the only thing that I could really think of to do with all that empty space was store some of my favorite stuffed animals. Since I had never been the kind of person to have friends sleep over at my house, I having a bunk bed made no sense. However, bed parts can only last so long before they need to be fixed. Since the box springs weren’t being held as securely as they used to be, my father cut some wooden planks and fastened them to the railing of my bed to prevent my box springs and mattress from moving around in ways they shouldn’t. I really wish he’d done it with a circular saw blade, because one of the planks wound up falling off a week after he thought he’d secured them properly. Apparently, it had gotten cut an inch too short, which made it prone to slipping. Have a good day.
